Frequently asked questions
I need a visa to come to Germany. Can you help me?
With a course registration you can apply for a student visa at the German Embassy.
They will ask you for an official invitation letter, which will be issued by us after you have registered for the courses.
To obtain a student visa, you should enroll in at least two (or more) intensive courses. We will be happy to advise and support you in this. Take advantage of our especially lucrative visa packages. Book a consultation appointment today.
How can I be sure that I will be satisfied with my trainer?
All of our courses are academic courses, which means that our students all learn very quickly and have an academic background.
All our teachers have a relevant university degree and specialize in interactive teaching methods.
Our team also regularly attends workshops and training sessions and is trained to use innovative teaching methods. We conduct regular evaluations and feedback sessions.
Our teachers have a permanent contract with German Institute and are wholeheartedly committed to their work! You are also very welcome to book a free trial appointment with us.
Do I have to pay anything in addition to the course fees?
The booking of our German courses always includes a free all-inclusive package for our course participants.

Our placement test helps you to evaluate your German language skills. With the results of the placement test we will find the right course for you. We also analyze your strengths and weaknesses in detail, give you suitable additional material, free extra courses and tips so that you are individually supported. Your trainer can promote you perfectly based on your test results.
I would like to register for more than one course. Could you offer me a special discount?
Of course, we can accommodate your price if you want to book more than one course. Regularly an intensive course costs 450€ / month.
If you decide directly for several courses we can offer you a great discount. With our Power Packages you can save a lot of money!

My employer wants to pay for my German courses. Can you guys do an invoice?
We will be very happy to provide an invoice or quote for your employer. He can then settle this conveniently by bank transfer. We are also happy to create a special business account for your company. This way your employer can book courses online on account, receive special offers and benefit from our business service.
I would like to book an exam appointment.
With our internal exam you can prove your language skills cheaply and quickly. Our examination is based on the Common European Framework of Reference and is accepted by numerous authorities. We ask for your understanding that only participants of the German Institute can take our exam. For participants of the intensive courses the exam is free of charge. Participants of the evening courses pay 50 euros and receive a registration link a few weeks before the exam date.
You want to take a Goethe or Telc exam. We will be happy to arrange an appointment for you.
Your course takes place online? We will gladly send you an overview of our services. To receive a certificate, you can book an on-site exam appointment.
How fast can I learn German?
The fastest way to learn German is in one of our intensive courses. Regularly, you can complete a sublevel in one month. e.g. the A1.1 German course lasts one month, the A1.2 German course lasts one month and the entire A1 level thus 2 months. All levels from A1 to C2 include two sublevels (A1.1, A1.2, A2.1, A2.2, B1.1, B1.2, B2.1, B2.2, C1.1, C1.2, C2.1, C2.2). For participants who want to learn even more intensively, we also offer the intermediate levels B1+, B2+ and C1+.
Can I take an integration course at German Institute?
All of our courses are academic courses, which means that our students all learn very quickly and have an academic background. Therefore, we do not offer integration courses.
Can I choose my course times freely?
Our intensive course takes place 5 times a week .
We have morning, lunch and afternoon classes.
Morning classes: Monday – Friday, 8:15-11:30 a.m.
Lunch Courses: Monday – Friday, 11:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Afternoon classes: Monday – Friday, 15:15-18:30
Our evening classes are held twice a week .
Monday, 18:45 – 21:15 & Wednesday, 18:45 – 20:15
or
Tuesday, 18:45 – 21:15 & Thursday, 18:45 – 20:15
